  The pancake train was a great place to eat. However even though it was beautiful inside, it wasn't particularly easy to eat at the table we sat at. Having said that we enjoyed our vegetarian pancake breakfast and our special pancakes for desert, which happened to be the snickers pancake!
  
  The only way this restaurant let me down is we never really felt appreciated by the staff, if anything at times it felt like the customers were a burden as the carriage wasn't full yet they seemed flustered to have people there. But nevertheless it was a lovely experience for us.
  
  Coffee wasn't particularly nice. I have a feeling it's the beans. But the milkshake was really nice and didn't make you feel sick after.

  What the hell happened to this place? A year ago, it had great coffee, maple syrup apple and bacon pancakes that were world class and all their daily specials were delicious. Today, it seems like the food ethics have been gutted and the taste is below average. It is really bad because this place took a prominent place in Tasmania's gourmet travellers destinations but the level is so bad now, travellers are in for a real shock. I ordered a chocolate and banana pancake and a mug of cappuccino and nearly walked out of the place when it arrived. My partner did her best to eat it and got halfway there. I could not even try it. The "chocolate sauce" was some sort of browny grey gooey watery liquid and for sure the pancakes were not freshly cooked. I asked the waitress what the sauce was made from and she said with a straight face "chocolate and cream" I know what chocolate and cream sauce is and that wasn't what was poured over the pancakes. I will not go back there. Bitterly disappointed
